About Me!
Hey, my name is Alicia (ah-LEE-sha) — a portrait photographer based in Waterloo Region, ON.
I'm a Photojournalism graduate from Loyalist College, and portraiture is where my heart really is. I'm also a published editorial photographer, with work featured in Chatelaine, Maclean's, the Globe & Mail, and CBC News. You can check out that side of my work here.
Outside of photography, you'll find me spending time with friends and family, shooting archery, doing pottery or playing around with film.
I believe in simple, honest photography. A single light, one subject, no gimmicks — just you, captured as you actually are. I don't chase perfect, I chase real — the parts of you that make you who you are, scars and beauty marks included.
